New Kinghorn path to open this Easter
The new walk has been created by Craigencalt Trust and runs through the woodland of Craigencalt Farm at the loch, linking up with the existing Rodanbraes Path. It goes up to the picnic area at the ruined Rodanbraes Cottage with wonderful views over the Firth of Forth to Edinburgh.
And, at one and a half miles return on a clean and firm surface which is disabled friendly, it should be manageable by most.

The new path was cut last November but was delayed by wet weather. However last week, with lots of volunteer help, it was completed.
Ron Edwards, Trust chairman, said: “I am delighted with all we’ve achieved this year – the new path, a new overspill car park and renewing the water treatment rafts on the loch – and we couldn’t have done it without our dedicated band of volunteers.
“The new facilities are there for everyone to enjoy, whether it’s water sports, bird-watchers, walkers, cyclists or horse riders, and we hope that everyone will take the opportunity to enjoy them.”
