Nostalgia: Kirkcaldy High's charity trek
In 1979 around 250 pupils from Kirkcaldy High School took part in a charity walk in the Lomond Hills.
The trek was part of the pupils’ ‘Social and Health Education’ programme and was also raising money for ‘Friends of Victoria Hospital’.
Despite the less than perfect weather conditions on the day, the school raised around £1000.
