The housebuilder has also continued its annual support of Inverflora, which is the local volunteer group which plant up the tubs, hanging baskets and planters in the town during the summer.

The house builder is currently working on its development at Spencer Fields, off Hillend Road.

Ewan McCormick, who heads up Inverkeithing Community Garden project said: "The past year has shown the importance of the natural world in supporting wellbeing for everyone.

Taylor Wimpey’s generous donation will help us to continue to develop the garden as a welcoming outdoor space for local people and visitors to the town."
