Tom Pratt, chef from The Waterfront restaurant in Kirkcaldy, will also be cooking up a storm, and for fun, hands-on workshops, children can decorate cupcakes or make healthy pizzas.

There is ample opportunity for feasting and shopping on the day with twenty local food and drink producers at the indoor ‘market’, showcasing and selling their products – ranging from jams, chutneys, cakes and chocolate, to pork, veal and tasty ales and vodka.

Exhibitors include Chillilicious, Puddledub Pork, Arrans Cheese Shop, Cairn O’ Mohr Winery, Cochrane’s Kitchen, The Good Life Farming Rose Veal, New York Sandwich Company, Fatma Lebanese Restaurant and Chocolate Gold.

“The Food and Drink Fair is just one part of a great programme of events this weekend and gives visitors the opportunity to come and hear all the latest thinking in the culinary world.”

Bryan McCabe of Fife College said: “This is a fantastic example of local Fife businesses working together to showcase their produce and welcome both old and new customers to the town.

“The event is free to attend, but remember you will want to have your wallet with you for our indoor food and drink market!”
