STUDENTS from Adam Smith College in Leven organised a variety of activities to help Children in Need - and were delighted with the generosity of local people.

The students, on a pre-retail course at the Victoria Road campus, organised a walk along Leven High Street, clad in their pyjamas, plus a cake stall featuring a raffle and tombola.

Kelly Lindsay, one of the main organisers, said they reckoned maybe to have gathered around £600 – with the stroll in nightwear down the High Street itself having netted a tremendous £210.

Kelly and her friends were very grateful for the support they received for the likes of guess the teddy bear’s birthday and other attractions at the additional events they staged.

The whole experience was very enjoyable too for the students, who are looking to get back to work and studying customer service and retail opportunities, said Kelly, as it brought them together as a team.

Right, the students are set for some fund-raising in the daytime while dressed for bedtime.
