THE SCOTTISH Fisheries Museum in Anstruther is hosting a new exhibition on lighthouses.
‘Lighthouses and Ships that Pass in the Light’ features the work of photographer and model-maker Peter Redshaw.
This exhibition features photographs of lighthouses, including the May Isle (pictured left), and also his unique framed model ships, fishing boats and puffers.
Born in Egypt to a family of marine engineers and sailors, Peter grew up in North Shields and Tynemouth before his own career took him into the Merchant Navy.
Running until February 29, the exhibition will be accompanied by an illustrated talk on its final day about the work of the ‘Lighthouse Stevensons’ and Peter’s personal impressions of them.
Prints and models will be available for sale, with all profits going to cancer charity Myeloma UK.
