Successful return for Kirkcaldy's High Street market

Kirkcaldy High Street’s market made a successful return today.

Artisan Fridays relaunched after an 11-week absence due to the coronavirus pandemic,

The initiative, launched in November by businesswoman Louise Canny, had been bringing people back into the High Street on a weekly basis as it brought more food retailers into town.

Strict social distances measures were in place along with stewards and barriers, while stallholders operated contactless payments.
