A KIND-HEARTED Methil man has raised almost £1000 for charity after deciding to visit each of his employer’s local branches.

Stephen Bonnett, (25), walked from one David Sands store to the other recently in a bid to support the MS Society, Scotland.

The journey started in September and took Stephen around all 29 stores before he completed his journey.

On his way he clocked up a cool 121 miles along local roads on the way.

Stephen’s sister, Ashley, has multiple sclerosis and inspired him to take part in the trek which saw him raise a final total of £920.91.

Both Stephen and Ashley have thanked David Sands for the support thy gave to Stephen and also to everybody who donated cash.

The pair added that they hope to put Stephen through his paces again soon, and that another charity fundraising event has already been set up for next year.
