Brandon Sherrett (19), from Kirkcaldy, performed Sundara Karma’s song Flame for the X Factor producers.
He said that he decided to go along to test himself.
“I’ve done gigs,” he said, “I’ve also done busking before.
“I had no idea it was on today but I just felt that I should push myself out further.”

She said that a friend had urged her to take part.
“I got thrown out of the door by a friend,” Kayleigh said.
“I always like to sing in my room. I knew they were in town and I just thought, why not?”
Darren Hill, X Factor talent scout, said he was happy with the turn out.
