Schools from across the town joined the party, including a choir from Castlehill Primary School, to entertain and tell launch guests how they were going to take part in this year’s floral feast. Horticulture lecturer at Perth College, Gordon Croll was also on stage to tell Cuparians about the health benefits of gardening. Cupar in Bloom will be taking part in the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Beautiful Scotland campaign – a long established community-led environmental improvement campaign run in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society and aims to increase the number of floral displays in town as part of Fife Council’s Beautiful Fife scheme.
