It’s the single most important vote of our generation - Scotland’s 2014 referendum will decide whether we stay within the UK or become an independent country.
The debate has been going on for over 18 months, and while the opinion polls have narrowed, the one that really matters won’t take place until Thursday, September 18.
The referendum has been a key issue in our letters page for many months now, but the Fife Free Press wants to expand the debate as the date of the vote comes closer.
We are launching 100 Voices - and it will appear 100 days before the September 18 poll.
100 Voices will feature the views of 100 ordinary Fifers - no politicians, no spin doctors, just people you know, work with, live next to or socialise with - on how they intend to vote whether that is yes or no.
It is also open to people who have yet to make up their mind.
To take part is free.
Each of our 100 voices will have the opportunity to explain why they are voting yes or no - or why they have yet to decide. Each profile will include a picture of the author and some brief biographical details.
