Police in Fife have renewed their appeal for information on the disappearance of Glenrothes man Allan Bryant as the family prepared to mark his 25th birthday on Sunday.
A new online appeal featuring an enhanced version of this CCTV plus images of Allan and his clothing has been seen by around 63,000 people since it was launched by police on the first anniversary of his disappearance, almost three weeks ago. But despite the encouraging amount of interest and publicity surrounding the ongoing search for Allan’s whereabouts, police are still no nearer a breakthrough.
Chief Inspector Nicola Shepherd said: ”Whilst it’s very encouraging that so many people have seen and shared the video and wider appeal, I would still ask people to continue to viewand pass on the information online as our inquiries to locate Allan continue.
‘‘Hundreds of people in Glenrothes turned out in support of his family on the anniversary of Allan going missing, I’m calling on the online community to unite and spread the message further.”
