Our Maggie’s Fife cancer centre will be transformed into the Arctic north for its annual Christmas Fair, courtesy of the team at Virgin Media Glenrothes.

An Arctic North theme has been chosen for the charity’s festive event which takes place on Saturday, December 6.

The fundraising event will run from 10.00 a.m. until 2.00 p.m and feature a whole host of activities including Santa’s grotto, games, crafts stalls, cake and candy and much more.

And it’s all in aid of the cancer caring centre in the grounds of the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.

Jacqui Earl and Claire Shragge are the main organisers from Virgin Media, Glenrothes.

Jacqui said: “Maggie’s is very close to our heart, it’s a charity we have supported over a number of years.

“The work the guys do is invaluable to the local community. Everyone has great fun taking part and we really enjoy seeing all the children’s happy smiling faces when they meet Santa.”

Claire added: “Santa’s ready and so are Rudolph, Penguin and the Polar Bear so stop on by and help support Maggie’s Cancer Care.”

As final preparations for the fundraiser are underway, the centre is appealing for items for the tombola and asking any bakers for help.

If you can help in any way please get in touch with Louise Duncan at Maggie’s Fife by calling (01592) 643355 ext. 28868 or email louise.duncan@maggiescentres.org.

Entry to the Christmas Fair is just £1 with all the proceeds going to Maggie’s Fife.

The cancer care charity relies on voluntary donations to support and grow its network and to develop its unique, high quality programme of support. Maggie’s aims to make the biggest difference it can to people in Fife living with cancer.
