A man who was driving a car involved in a horrific head-on death crash is facing a murder charge relating to a separate incident, reports Mike Delaney.
Brian Kennedy was injured when the vehicle was involved in a collision with a tipper-truck on the outskirts of Glenrothes on Tuesday, 15 November.
His passenger, 45 year-old Tracy Forbes, died in hospital after the accident.
In June, Mr Kennedy (30) appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court with two other men in connection with the death of Rosyth man Alexander Ormiston.
At that time, he made no plea, or declaration, was commited for further examination and remanded in custody.
On Tuesday, 22 November, a Crown Office spokeswoman confirmed that Mr Kennedy was still facing the charges, but said a trial date had not yet been set.
