Drivers heading for Crossgates next week will find their route blocked overnight as major roadworks get under way.
Work starts to repair the southbound slip road from the A92 to the Crossgates roundabout, on Sunday for five nights between 7.30pm and 6.30am with completion planned by 6.30am on Friday October 23.
During the closure, all vehicles requiring to access Crossgates Roundabout will be diverted off the A92 at the Cowdenbeath slip and via the A909, B925 and Dunfermline road before re-joining Crossgates Roundabout.
The resurfacing of the slip road will repair cracks, potholes and other issues to improve the general condition and safety of the road for motorists.
Andy Thompson, BEAR Scotland’s North East Unit Representative, advised drivers: “The resurfacing has been scheduled to minimise delays, however, we encourage motorists to plan their journeys in advance and allow some extra time.”
