Abba's Dancing Queen is the happiest song in Scotland
According to new research by online platform FeedMyHappy, over two fifths (43 per cent) feel happiest listening to that song.

Hide AdThis is closely followed by Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and The Waves (36 per cent) and Good Vibrations by The Beach Boys and Happy by Pharrell Williams both at 32 per cent.
The study shows that music, especially songs that are part of our popular culture, has a powerful influence on our happiness.
Nationally, Dancing Queen topped the Happiest Song Chart, but was more popular in Scotland compared to the national average of 38 per cent.

Hide AdDancing Queen was also the most popular song amongst women with almost half (43 per cent) saying it made them feel happiest.
For men, however, Good Vibrations by The Beach Boys and Always Look on the Bright Side of Life by Monty Python hit the spot at 35 per cent and 34 per cent respectively.
Happy by Pharrell Williams is the song that makes the younger generation happiest (31 per cent), closely followed by Shake it Off by Taylor Swift.
