Local people are being asked to give their views on plans for an affordable housing development on the eastern edge of Cupar.
Kingdom Housing Association has applied for planning permission in principle for up to 49 homes in Pitscottie Road, to the east of Tarvit Drive.
Subject to planning approval, and final confirmation of funding, building is scheduled to start in 2016 ,with completion the following year.
Kingdom Housing is to hold a drop-in event this Tuesday, November 25, in the Corn Exchange, at which the public can find out more about about the project.
Kingdom’s chief executive, Bill Banks, said: “There is a great need for more affordable housing in Cupar.
“We believe the opportunity for local people to access modern, high-quality, energy-efficient housing will prove very popular.
“We are happy to have an opportunity to discuss the project with local residents, and to talk through issues raised.
“If we receive planning permission in principle, we intend to bring forward and consult on detailed proposals for the site in 2015.”
The drop-in event takes place between 3pm and 7pm.
