Glastonbury headliners Kasabian are to play in Fife next month.
The band are one of Britain’s top stadium groups and this is the first time they have played in the Kingdom.
The gig at the Alhambra Theatre in Dunfermline on Thursday, May 22, forms part of their 2014 tour, which will see the band headlining stadiums and festivals such as Benicassim in Europe.
Hailing from Leicester, Kasabian released their self-titled debut in 2004, which included anthems like Club Foot, L.S.F, Cut Off, and Processed Beats.
These songs, along with Sergio Pizzorno’s intriguing guitar sound, and Tom Meighan’s undeniable charisma as a frontman, turned Kasabian into a must-see live act.
As the years have gone by, Kasabian have continued to release a string of quality albums that expanded on their sound.
Earlier this month it was confirmed the band will headline the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury this summer.
Tickets for the band’s Alhambra date go on general sale from 9.00 a.m. on Friday, May 2.
