Angling champion at Rothes Arms Hotel
November 1977: There were some fishy stories for those who turned out to meet former British and European Angling Champion Mike Shepley in Glenrothes.
Mike received a full-house at the Rothes Arms Hotel as he recounted tales from his time fishing, gave advice and displayed his selection of tackle.
Here he can be seen demonstrating the strength of his fishing rod.
