Marie Curie is calling on people to hold a Blooming Great Tea Party to support the charity which provides care and support for people living with a terminal illness.

Whether it’s a big garden party for family and friends or a small bake sale at work, every donation from a Blooming Great Tea Party, held between June 20-29, will be helping Marie Curie Nurses care for more people living with a terminal illness across the UK.

Helen Zollinger, community fundraiser for Marie Curie said: “It’s easy to support Marie Curie with a Blooming Great Tea Party and it really is up to you how you decide to join in.

“Last year we held various tea parties of different sizes and this year we want residents and businesses across Angus to go even further and tell us about their tea-riffic plans.

“Every pound raised will enable us to help even more people living with a terminal illness which includes those we support directly through our nursing service in Angus along with our telephone and online support services.”
