Police in Levenmouth are investigating after a house in Whyterose Terrace, Methil was broken into in the early hours of Sunday morning (January 5).

Inspector Donald Jenks from Police Scotland said: “Waking up to find that your house has been broken into is very distressing and not the start to a new year that anyone would want.

“Our investigations are at an early stage and we would appreciate any information that the public can give us in relation to this break-in.

“Were you in the area of Whytrose Terrace between 2.00 and 10.30 a.m. on Sunday morning? Did you see anyone acting suspiciously?

“Please give us a call on 101 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
