Appeal for information after wooden bear stolen from Fife petrol station

Police are appealing for witnesses after a carved wooden bear was stolen from a petrol station near Freuchie.

The theft took place on Saturday, December 26 between 2.30pm and 3pm at the Bridgend Garage on the A92.

Officers are now asking anyone who saw the incident or who has information that can help trace the suspect to get in touch.

The suspect is described as being white, in his 20’s or 30’s with black hair.

He was wearing a bright red Adidas hooded top with the hood up.

Sergeant Leisa Metcalfe, from Cupar Police Station, said: “This ornamental bear was stolen in broad daylight and we are keen to trace the individual responsible so we can return it to its owners.
