An artist is set to illuminate Kinghorn beach this week.
Heinz Kasper, a Berlin based light artist, is experimenting with light on the sands on Thursday, May 21, from 9.00 p.m.
As an artist, Heinz is dedicated to exploring light in relation to colour, form and environment as a medium of creative expression.
Aside from his light design activities in the spheres of performing arts, exhibitions and architecture, Kasper’s oeuvrer also includes abstract colour compositions and digitally reprocessed photographic pieces.
Another important aspect of his creative output is the conceptualisation, visualisation and actualisation of inventive and imaginary environments and topographies.
Heinz is current Artist in Residence in the International Residency Programme at Sea Loft in the town’s Harbour Road.
