THE West Wemyss Walk Inn has kicked off its art season by pulling back the Iron Curtain.

Russian-born artist Dina Mackins is the first, of many talented individuals, to exhibit in the new community hub, following its revamp by the West Wemyss Development Trust.

She is described as having an ‘urgent and growing passion’ with each of her pieces said to benefit from an ‘unteachable quality’ that adds ‘depth and fire’ to her work.

Ms Mackins (pictured), who only began painting three years ago, held a private viewing for invited guests in the Walk Inn to launch the exhibition on Thursday evening where her work was appreciated by all.

To make up your mind visit the Walk Inn before the exhibition closes on October 26 when another artist will take up residence for the following month.
