Fife motorists are being urged by police to use extreme care when driving after attending a number of road collisions across the region.
The warning comes following two accidents on the B9157 Kirkcaldy to Dalgety Bay road on Thursday morning.
Officers have closed the road for investigations to be carried out.
A Volkswagen mini-van left the roadway near the Auchtertool junction due to the icy surface at around 8.00 a.m.
Police and the fire service attended the scene.
A woman suffered an injury to her arm or shoulder as a result of the incident.
A second collision has taken place on the road at the junction with the A909.
Police and ambulance are in attendance to establish the full circumstances of the incident and assess any injuries.
Motorists are advised to find an alternative route.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the accidents to contact them by calling 101.
