Roadworks on a busy commuter route have been rescheduled to avoid rush hour traffic tailbacks.
Drivers complained of 20 minute delays on the B921 Cluny Road, linking Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes, while Fife Council carried out carriageway repairs.
The works, scheduled for completion on Sunday, started last week, with three-way traffic signals in place at the Kinglassie Road junction.
However, following concerns from the public, maintenance crews are now restricting their work to between 9.30am to 3.30pm to avoid peak traffic.
The signals are also being manually operated to minimise delays.
