THE Enid Hutt Gallery located on St Clair Street in Kirkcaldy has unveiled a limited edition collection of six prints from the comedian Billy Connolly.
It is the first time Connolly’s art has ever been published or exhibited to the public.
The collection, entitled ‘Born on a Rainy Day’, is available for purchase now.
The limited edition pieces, took Connolly two years to create and consist of a series of six pen and ink limited edition drawings.
Connolly said: “Art, for me, bears no relation to comedy or music. My art is pure and un-judged. I am creating it for myself. It is personal and private whereas with a film, comedy show or music you expect people to be critiquing, watching and assessing.
“Art is different, it liberates you.”
Clarke Hutt, manager at Enid Hutt Gallery said: “We feel honoured to be able to work alongside Billy to publish and exhibit this stunning and inspirational collection.”
Each piece in the collection will be a limited edition run of 95.
