Body found at Dalgety Bay identified
Police Scotland has confirmed that a woman found dead on the shoreline at Dalgety Bay was not from Fife.
The body of the 57-year-old woman was discovered on the shore near St Colme Road at around 3pm on Saturday, November 12.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “The death is currently being treated as unexplained pending the result of a post mortem examination however there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances at this time.
“Next of kin have been informed and officers are continuing to offer them support at this difficult time.”
