Body found in search for missing Methil man
Police have confirmed that a body was found this morning (Sunday) during the search for missing Methil man John Keir.
Officers were called to the Dumbarnie Links area at 10.15am, where the body of a man was recovered from the water.
Formal identification is yet to take place but Mr Keir’s family have been informed.
Police say the death is being treated as unexplained pending further inquiries and a report is to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
