A six-year-old boy has been injured after being hit by a van, prompting an appeal by police.
Officers are looking for information after the incident on Methilhaven Road yesterday.
A police Scotland Spokesman said: “Police in Fife were called to Methilhaven Road in Leven around 4.40pm on Monday January 29, following a collision between a blue Ford Transit van and a pedestrian.
“A six-year-old boy sustained minor injuries and enquiries into this are ongoing.
“Anyone who may have witnessed the collision and hasn’t yet spoken to officers is asked to contact Fife’s Road Policing Unit via 101, quoting incident number 2409 of January 29.”
