Breaking: Car crashes into gas tank on A916 at Craigrothie near Cupar

Police are currently attending a crash on the A916 at Craigrothie near Cupar where a single car struck a gas tank this afternoon.

Police are currently attending a crash on the A916 at Craigrothie.

The incident was reported to the police shortly after 1.45pm this afternoon.

No injuries have been reported and the road has been closed as a precaution.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a crash involving a single car which has struck a gas tank off the A916 at Craigrothie near Cupar shortly after 1.45pm on Wednesday, 2 December.“There are no reports of any injuries and the road has been closed as a precaution.”

Motorists are advised to use an alternative route.
