It’s nearly Christmas time again, and boys and girls with stars in their eyes will have the chance to take centre stage as Fife’s theatres open their doors for young people to audition to play a part in the show.

Auditions take place at Adam Smith Theatre, on Monday, September 1 at 4.00 p.m. and Carnegie Hall, Dunfermline on Tuesday, September 2 at 4.00 p.m.

There are parts for children from seven to 18.

Auditions for the Adam Smith pantomime are open to all, aged eight to 18, from budding thespians to those who’d love to tread the boards for the first time!

While Carnegie Hall’s production of Snow White is looking for those between the ages of seven and 12.

Being part of the Company means lots of hard work. You will learn lots about theatre and are expected to bring professionalism to your conduct, both on and off stage. The show will be the main focus of your lives for almost seven weeks and will not only offer a terrific experience, but will also bring masses of excitement, teamwork and fun.

Successful applicants will have to attend rehearsal sessions on November 2, 9, 16 and 23 along with their scheduled performance dates.

Please wear casual clothes, be prepared to exercise your voice and to try some choreographed dance routines. There’s no need to book a place, just turn up on the day.
