The group investigating taking control of Earsferry Town Hall has secured more than £20,000 in funding.
The Earlsferry Town Hall Steering Group received £13,578 from Scottish Land Fund, £4,930 from Architectural Heritage Fund and £4452 from Fife Council.
The funding will be used to hire consultants to carry out a feasibility study and a technical report on the hall.
The consultants will review the physical condition of the hall, the availability of grant funding for its purchase and refurbishment, and the feasibility of developing the hall into a community hub.
The building is available for a Community Asset Transfer (CAT).
