IT is hoped businesses can be attracted to Kennoway to help regenerate the town with new industry.

Fife Council is offering an 8.7 acre site east of Sandy Brae industrial estate which has been earmarked for office, general industrial and storage and distribution use.

It is located in what is considered a prime location as it is just 10 minutes from the A92.

Individual plots are available from 0.5 acres to suit individual requirements.

Ronnie Hair, Fife Council’s property investment and development manger, said the site is one of a few which it has available for sale or lease in a wide range of sizes and for different employment uses.

He added it was ideal for companies looking to locate, expand and start up a business in the region.

Niall Gunn, a partner at Shepherd Chartered Surveyors which is acting on Fife Council’s behalf, said the imminent new Forth Bridge made the Kingdom the ideal place to locate to. He added: “With Fife’s excellent road network and close proximity to Edinburgh and the central belt, the commercial property sector has remained relatively buoyant in Fife throughout the challenges of the current economic climate.”
