KIRKCALDY’S Specsavers has been named the company’s top store for customer service.
The High Street branch beat more than 700 Specsavers stores across the UK to land the ‘Award for Excellence’ at the company’s annual awards ceremony.
The team at the Kirkcaldy store was commended for always putting the customer first and focusing on initiatives to improve the customer experience, as well as its work in the local community.
A group of staff, led by store directors Kathryn Thompson and Neil Dibble, picked up the title at a black tie event in Birmingham last week.
Kathryn said: “It was fantastic for all the hard work our team puts into looking after our customers to be recognised by making the final shortlist, but to come out on top against such stiff competition was amazing and we were both surprised and delighted to have brought the title back to Kirkcaldy.
“We really do have to say a big thank you to all our customers for their input. We couldn’t have won it without their recommendations, and hopefully we can repay them by continuing to provide a first class service when looking after the vision and hearing in the years ahead.”
