No ‘doom and gloom’ for graduate Emma

Adam Smith College graduate Emma Grant has landed a prestigious position with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), one of the UK’s leading professional business and management bodies.

The former HND Administration and Information Technology student begins her exciting new role in the next few weeks, showing new graduates that it’s not all doom and gloom after graduation.

Emma (24) will be the Regional Co-ordinator for the Aberdeen City and Shire branch of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) supporting a branch of 600 members. After completing her HND at Adam Smith College, Emma was able to progress BA Administration Management, completing her final honours year at local institution Abertay University. Emma later worked in Human Resources in the voluntary and public sectors, and currently works with Aberdeenshire Council. This combination of work experience and education has combined to pay off with this exciting new opportunity for Emma.
