Care home entrepreneur, Robert Kilgour, is the new chairman of Kingdom FM.
The businessman was a founder shareholder in the radio station, and has been a director since February 2007.
He takes over from Ian L. Livingstone CBE, who has headed up the board since March 2008.
Mr Kilgour, who is also chairman of Renaissance Care, paid tribute to his predecessor.
He said: ‘‘In his 10 years as chairman Ian oversaw two game-changing moments in Kingdom FM’s history – the granting of a new 12-year broadcasting licence and the move to new purpose built studios in Kirkcaldy.
“His contribution to this radio station can’t be over-emphasised and he steps down with all our thanks.’’
The radio station celebrates its 20th birthday later this year and currently employs a staff of 12.
