Excitement is mounting as next week Anstruther Musical Society (ADAMS) take to The Byre Theatre stage with their annual production.
This year they have chosen the extremely funny, bright and lively musical “Me & My Girl”.
Rachel Nee, vice president said: “This is a show for all the family as it’s packed with lots of comedy and well known songs too, including “The Sun Has Got His Hat On”, “Leaning On A Lamppost” and of course “The Lambeth Walk”.”
The script was re-written for the professional West End run of the show, by the very talented Stephen Fry.
His humour is very evident in the script and the cast believe it is a winner for audiences who enjoy a feel-good musical.
The company have been working tirelessly over the last few months fine tuning their acting, singing and dancing skills to ensure this production will match London’s West End expectations.
The show runs from September 6-10 at The Byre Theatre, St Andrews and tickets can be bought online through the Anstruther Musical Society website website or directly from the theatre. Performance times are 7.30pm nightly with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
