Vehicle parts and fittings worth around £14,000 have been stolen from a car dealership in Cupar.

The theft from the Pentland Land Rover dealership at Eden Valley Business Park happened overnight between Monday, June 15, and Tuesday, June 16.

Items taken included bonnets, headlights, front doors, rear seats, roof linings and front seats, which were stolen from a number of vehicles inside the unit.

Detective Sergeant Alec Raeside said: “The car parts that were stolen from these vehicles will most likely be sold on for profit, and so we would ask that anyone who is approached and asked to buy these items contacts police immediately.

“We are also keen to hear from anyone who remembers seeing any suspicious activity in or around the dealership, or the business park in general, between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

“If you have information that is relevant to our investigation please contact police immediately.”

Anyone with information should call Police Scotland on 101 or alternatively, Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
