CCTV image released in housebreaking probe

Police have released a CCTV image as part of an investigation into an attempted housebreaking in Kirkcaldy.

The incident took place on March 7 at a business premises on Bennochy Road, Kirkcaldy.

Officers believe that the man pictured within the CCTV image is of interest to this investigation, and would ask anyone who recognises him to come forward.

He is described as being in his 20s, 5ft 8inches tall, with a slim build and very short brown-coloured hair. He was wearing a light grey hoodie with black stripes down the arms, light grey tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

Detective Sergeant Craig Fraser of Kirkcaldy CID said: “We are eager to trace the man pictured, who may be able to assist with our inquiries, and would ask anyone who can help us establish his identity to come forward.”
