Pub and entertainment boss Lee Murray has leased three of his best-known Leven premises out to new managers.
In a deal concluded on Monday, Sharron King and members of her family have taken over the management of Mcphail’s in North Street, while in charge at neighbouring Molly Malones is Jim Love, who has been manager at the premises for several years. Mark Ferguson, also experienced in the trade, is the new leaseholder at Brannigan’s in Hawkslaw Road.
Flood Inns boss Mr Murray is retaining ownership of the buildings but looking to lighten his business load a little with some different faces in charge.
“I was the landlord and tenant – now I’m just the landlord,” he said.
Mr Murray added he had kept his interest in Agenda, in Leven’s Scoonie Road, and also 1 Golf Place in St Andrews.
Sharron King announced on Facebook that an event to celebrate the changeover in management would be taking place at Mcphail’s this Friday, with entertainment from The Full Maxi.
