CROONING councillor Andrew Rodger has handed over a hugely impressive £2000 to Kirkcaldy’s Victoria Hospice.

The money was raised from the sale so far of 400 of Cllr Rodger’s charity CDs.

He made his recording debut with ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’, with his interpretation of seven well-known hit songs, including ‘My Way’ and the title track.

Clrlr Rodger received some studio recording time as a 60th birthday present last year and decided to cut the disc in aid of the Victoria Hospice – a charity very close to his heart.

Delighted with the support shown so far, Cllr Rodger said the £5 CDs could be obtained at P. & M. Cunningham’s shop, in Mavis Bank, Buckhaven, and at Fiona’s Bits and Pieces shop in Methil.
