A FALKLAND pub-goer gave up drinking for charity.
And Ryan Watson’s month of abstinence raised over £1300 for Cancer Research UK.
He is a regular at the village’s Lomond Tavern and Stag Inn hostelries.
He said: “I wanted to raise money for cancer research because two of my uncles have died from the disease and my freind’s dad has just been given the all-clear.
“I couldn’t believe how much I raised” said the 21 year-old wleder.
