Coffee morning: THE Sunday Club at Kinghorn Parish Church is hosting a coffee morning for Christian Aid on Saturday. The event will run from 10.00 a.m until noon in the church hall. Please come along and support this worthwhile cause. Donations of home baking, raffle and tombola are welcome and gratefully received.

Torbain events: TWO events will be held at Torbain Parish Church tomorrow (Friday). The first will be a Pastoral Care afternoon tea, which takes place at 2.00 p.m. A children’s disco will also be held that evening from 6.30 p.m to 8.00 p.m. Pay at the door.

Book Week: THE Bethany Christian Trust shop in Kirkcaldy High Street is having

a book week from Monday, May 28 to Saturday, June 2. Fiction, reference and children’s books all available. Come and have a browse.

Charity event: A FUNDRAISING coffee morning for Christian Aid will take place in the St Fillans Church Hall, Aberdour on Saturday. The event will run from 10.00 a.m until noon. Donations of plants and home baking will be particularly appreciated.

Thanksgiving service: TO celebrate the Queen’s diamond jubilee a service of thanksgiving will be held in St Peter’s Episcopal Church, Townsend Place on Sunday, June 3 at 3.00 p.m. There will be refreshments in the hall after the service.

Coffee morning: THE EU Congregational Church, Pathhead will be celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with a coffee morning to be held in the church on Saturday between 10.00 a.m and 11.30 a.m. Cake and candy, tombola and second hand books will be on sale.

Flower festival: THE St Jospeh’s Parish Flower Festival takes place over the Queen’s Jubilee weekend (June 1-3). The times will be Friday from 2.00-6.00 p.m; and from 11.00 a.m until 4.00 p.m on Saturday and Sunday.
