THE two scrutiny committees of Fife Council are getting down to business following their recent summer recess.
Committees for education, social and communities and environment, finance and corporate services met in public at Fife House yesterday (Tuesday).
Leader of Fife Council, Councillor Alex Rowley said: “Our new decision making structure will allow us to deal with business quickly, effectively and in the best interest of the people of Fife.
“Scrutiny is an important part of any democratic process.
“We want people to see and hear for themselves first hand how we make decisions and decide what their money is spent on.”
