Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the wellbeing of a 23-year-old Glenrothes man who has not been seen since 2.00 a.m. on Sunday, November 3.

The last positive sighting of Allan Bryant was on Sunday morning outside Styx on Caskieberran Road, Glenrothes, at which time he was dressed in a navy/white and grey striped t-shirt, black/dark jeans and grey leather plimsoles.

He is also described as being 5ft 6” tall, medium build with short brown hair and blue eyes and has tattoos on both arms.

Inspector Derek Paxton, who is leading the search, said: “We are concerned for Allan’s wellbeing.

“He was last seen and spoken to outside Styx nightclub in Glenrothes at 2.00 a.m. on Sunday morning.

“It is unclear where he went after that. He was under the influence of alcohol at that time.

“Allan has not returned home following his night out, and has since failed to turn up for a number of appointments which he would have been expected to keep.

“Anyone who knows of Allan’s whereabouts, or saw him during the evening of Saturday, November 2 into the early hours of Sunday, November 3 or anyone who believes they have information relating to his disappearance should contact Police Scotland on 101.

“We are aware of some messages being posted on social media as to possible locations or last sightings of Allan, however we need to discuss these issues with the individuals posting the messages so we can properly assess their authenticity, and whether we need to focus our search in other areas.
