Could you become a foster carer and make a difference to a child or young person’s life?

There are events coming up where you can talk about becoming a foster carer with National Fostering Agency Scotland.

You can apply to be a foster carer regardless of your marital or residential status.

What you will need is a spare room and the time and energy to invest in a child or young person.

Simply go along and have a chat with the experts to discuss the criteria and the process.

The agency will be exhibiting at the following venues:

Monday, May 5 from 11 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. at Kingsgate Shopping Centre, Dunfermline.

Tuesday, May 6 from 5.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. at Holiday Inn Express, Leslie Road, Glenrothes.

Thursday, May 8 from 5.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. at Holiday Inn Express, Halbeath, Dunfermline.

Over 850 additional foster carers are needed in Scotland, so why not go along and find out more. You can make a big difference to a child or young adult’s life.

If you are unable to attend the events but are interested, you can register your interest by texting ‘foster7’ plus your name to 88020 or contact 0845 434 5765 (local rate).
