£25,000 of heroin seized

HEROIN valued at £25,000 has been seized in Glenrothes leading to the arrest of a 49-year-old man.

Detective Inspector Alan Blyth, said: “Following a vehicle stop at 6.30pm on Friday, heroin valued at £25,000 was seized. A man is to appear from custody at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court charged with offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act. I would again like to thank the public for all of the assistance they have provided during our ongoing investigations.”
