A Leven man who assaulted his partner has been fined £200.

Glenn Patrick, of Groban, Leven appeared before Sheriff James Williamson at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Patrick, 24, admitted on May 27, 2020 at his home address he assaulted his partner, seizing hold of her, pinning her on a bed, seizing hold of her hair and slapping her on the face.

The court heard the lockdown last spring had put a strain on their relationship but that the couple had since reconciled.

The case called at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

Sheriff Williamson fined Patrick £200.
