Abuse towards estranged partner puts Fife man in court

Sentence has been deferred on an East Wemyss man who admitted acting abusively towards his estranged partner.

Robert McGee, of Alexander Street, appeared before Sheriff James Williamson at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

McGee, 43, admitted that on October 14 this year at his home address he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by repeatedly shouting, swearing, acting in an aggressive manner and repeatedly using derogatory language towards his estranged partner.

He further admitted committing the offence while on bail.

Sheriff Williamson deferred sentencing McGee until next month.
